Altar Servers

Boys and girls 4th grade and older are trained and then practice with older
servers as to the duties of altar servers. Appropriate dress and neatness is
a must! Adults are also able to be altar servers for special services. Please
contact the liturgical office for information.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are practicing Catholic
parishioners who assist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at
parish liturgies. After formation the person will be appointed to serve as an
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Please contact the liturgical
office if interested.

Extraordinary Ministers of Care to the sick, homebound, nursing homes and hospitals
This ministry visits and brings Holy Communion to parishioners who are unable
to celebrate the liturgy with us because of illness or infirmity. Please contact
the liturgical office for further information. Training is offered.

Greeters
Greeters are Ministers of Welcome who acknowledge all parishioners and
visitors at all Masses, holidays, special liturgies, and funerals. Greeters need
to arrive 20-25 minutes before their scheduled service begins. It is an
excellent way for families to participate together. For further information
contact the liturgical office.

Lectors
Lectors are parishioners who proclaim the Word of God at parish liturgies.
They are trained in effective public reading and emphasizing the meaning of
the text. A workbook is supplied giving the meaning of the text and
pronunciations. Lectors are scheduled in advance so they have time to
prepare. Please contact the liturgical office if you are interested in becoming
involved.

Music Ministry
This ministry is for people who are interested in cantoring, singing, or playing
an instrument with the choir. No auditions are necessary. Please contact the
liturgical office for more information.

Sacristans
The people in this group are in charge of making sure that the linens for the
altar are changed and cleaned as needed. Please contact the liturgical
office if you are interested in becoming a sacristan.

Ushers
Ushers assist in seating, collections, communion procession, distributing
bulletins, and helping in any emergency. All men and women are welcome to
offer their services at any Mass they attend by simply talking to an usher on
hand.
