Family Life

Baptismal Preparation

These preparations teach parents to reflect on how they are called to fulfill their responsibilities as Christian parents, first teachers of the faith. Baptism is celebrated on the first and third Sundays after the 11 a.m. mass or during one of the Sunday masses.

Baptism preparation is required prior to baptism, and parents must be registered and practicing parishioners. The two godparents must be active members of a parish and recommended by their pastor. Adults and/or older children seeking baptism do so according to the Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults. Please call the parish office for further information.

Marriage Preparation

This is an energized and fulfilling weekend for engaged couples which includes a series of talks and round table discussion. Couples deal with different aspects of married life. Marriage prep weekends are held three times a year. Contact our Marriage Prep Coordinator for further information.
